Somewhere on here there was a discussion a while back about Merchant accounts. The main option being 2checkout which does work though they pretty much rip you off. But for small websites to accept credit cards they still may be the best. Long as you can wait 2 weeks to get paid. Since I sell stuff that has to be shipped I can't really do that. What 2checkout does is not really give YOU a merchant account. instead they let you use theirs which is why they have to have you put a little disclaimer on every page you happen to have a product.
I discovered if you can pay a little bit each month then there is another option that is still better.

The reason I initially went with 2checkout besides the above was the other alternatives wanted, besides plenty of money, all kinds of info I could not really provide, references etc. AND 2checkout had a very easy cut and paste shopping cart system that didn't require skills I have not yet learned.
SecureNetShop Is way easier. I can actually cut and paste without haveing to paste into notepad first. Once yougo over their menus they really thought of everything. you can add so many options. Even options for the three main shippers out there. As far as I can tell they have thought of everything. If your not impressed then nothing impresses you. If you need a cart and merchant account and your tired of 2checkout check them out..
